"What About Truth?"

"And ye shall know the truth,
and the truth shall make you free."
~ John 8: 32
It saddens and amazes me when I think how shallow so many saved people are when it comes to the matter of truth. The basis for all truth and practices must be founded no the truth, if not, then it is not the truth. There are only two places where you find "the truth." Those would be the Bible, the written truth, and Jesus, the living truth. When these two are rejected, truth is nowhere to be found. Very few people can handle the truth of God's word. Truth has characteristics that are out of this world. Truth never changes. Truth, when placed next to error will always reprove error. Truth will divide those that compromise. Truth will always have freedom attached to it. There is safety in truth. There is power in truth. Truth will lessen your fears. There is also joy in truth. Truth is easy to remember. Truth has no gray area to it. Truth will attract truth. Truth will always drive doubt away. Satan knows the truth, but he will do all he can to blind your eyes to it.
Truth can stand clear in the light and have no fear about any matter. Darkness hates truth. Liars hate truth. Compromisers hate truth. Contemporary churches hate the truth. Let us learn to embarce the truth in all matters.
