"and shall obtain favour of the Lord." ~ Proverbs 8:35; Proverbs 12:2
"... Among the righteous, there is favour" ~ Proverbs 1:9
These are only two of the many Bible verses which reveal that our Heavenly Father does show "favour" to His family. It is true that God is no respecter of persons when it comes to being.saved. It is also true that He loves each of us the same. His love for us will never waiver. His is an eternal love that goes beyond the thoughts of man. But, He will show favour to those who desire to live for Him. Disobedience and willful sin will rob any saved person of God's favour. Just as any sensible parent would reward a wayward, rebellious child, so does our God. This favour can come upon a saved person as they daily seek to follow after God. When a person's motives and ambitions are based on God's word, then His favour comes to them. This favour can be material things, but more important, it can be spiritual. Peace, joy, power, patience, understanding, wisdom, knowledge, and so much more can be given to those who live to please the Lord. You determine God's blessings and favour in your life. Obedience is the key. Learn to live in His favour.
