"Give In"

"Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil and he will flee fro thee." James 4: 7
Some time back, the California mild producers came out with a two-word ad that caught the attention of many Americans, "Got Milk?". It was recognized by more than 90% of the people polled.
If "Got Milk?" could remind people to drink some "cow juice", perhaps we could find a two-word slogan that would remind Christians to live Godly lives. The fourth chapter of James could give us a start for some two-words.
- "Give In!" That's what submit refers to. Allow the Lord to run your life. This is a must in resisting the devil.
- "Get Close!" This is what "Draw Nigh" means. It's up to us to be as close to the Lord as possible.
- "Clean Up!" We see this in the words, "Cleanse your hand." This can only happen if we confess our sins to God.
- "Get Down!" This refers to the word "humble" in verse 10. Bow down and see your weakness and then you will see His strength!
