Laboring Together

"For we are labourers together with God; ye are God's husbandry, ye are God's building."
~ 1 Corinthians 3:9
Open doors and opportunities are everywhere we look. open your eyes! Look at the children, the teens, the neighborhoods, schools, nursing homes, hospitals, parks, and on and on. It is interesting that where the disciples thought there was no harvest, Jesus led someone to Himself, and thus to salvation. Think about the woman at the well, blind Bartimaeus, the lepers, and Nicodemus. Everywhere Jesus went, it had more to do with people than the place. The world is one big harvest field full of people who need the Saviour. Think about the wonderful privileges that we have as we labor together with God in reaching out to lost people with His great love! When was the last time that you earnestly asked God to help you witness to someone? We are all that he has. Conviction should rest upon us for our failing in being a voice for His cause. You can not do it alone, nor in the energy of your flesh. You must have His presence alive and well in your life. May we each day look to Him as we look to the harvest that is wasting. They are perishing while we play!
