"Life's Dilemmas"

"Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.
In all thy ways acknowledge him and He shall direct they paths."
Proverbs 3:5-6
What is a "dilemma"? It's a difficult choice. It's a situation requiring a choice that is hard to make. Sometimes these dilemmas have to do with the best of two goods or the worst of two evils. Often we bring these dilemmas on ourselves, and sometimes they come by way of others. No matter what brings them our way, they usually put us in awkward situations and we find ourselves with question marks all around us. What happens if we do it this way or that way? Does that sound like it to you? Dilemmas will put your faith and your patience to the test!
Our dilemmas can usually be settled if we will be still and allow the Holy Spirit to direct us. More often our dilemmas will involve right vs. wrong. Doing right should not be hard to do. Dilemmas can also be easier to solved as we search the scriptures for help. Our dilemmas can also be easier solved when we put our own personal gain out of the way. Seeking some help from someone else who may have faced your dilemma could assist you in your decision. I go back to one of my life's verses when I have a dilemma. "Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all they ways acknowledge Him and He shall direct thy paths." Proverbs 3:5-6.
