Easy to do - - Hard to do

"Therefore my beloved brethren, be ye steadfast,
unmovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord."
~ Matthew 25:21
This verse should be marked in your Bible. It is a life controlling verse when obeyed by any Christian. the church needs more of its members to make this verse a part of their lifestyle. Two things come to mind as I see what this verse says. One, it is easy to quit with the things of God, and two, it is hard to get things (for God) started back. I've seen it many times in people's lives. They miss a few church services, and soon they are gone completely. Satan makes it easy to quit praying, reading your Bible, handing out tracts, coming to Sunday School, tithing, and all other aspects involving the Lord Jesus. It's easy to quit the choir. It's easy to just push aside those things that will make you a better Christian. It is easy to be judgmental and inforgiving. It is easy to see the faults and sins of others. When these areas settle in your life, you will NOT have God's blessing or power. Why do most Christians live this way??
For them to make a comeback or to be revived, it will be hard to do. Why? Because the spirit is willing, but the flesh is weak. It is hard to put aside your fleshly desires aside and become the Christian God wants you to be. Old and bad habits are heard to break. The pull of the world is hard to fight against. Sadly, most Christians will not put a real effort into living "wholly unto the Lord."
Where are you right now in your living? Are you lliving like the verse states, "steadfast, unmoveable", or are you just siting by and doing little for the Kingdom of God
