Priorities

"Jesus said, 'And though shalt love the lord they God with all they heart, and with all thy soul,
and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this is the first commandment. And the second is
like namely this, thou shalt love thy neighbor as thy self. There is none
other commandments greater than these'. "
Mark 12:30-31
These words of Jesus are easy to read and easy to understand, but they are quite hard to live by. For anyone to be able to live by these two commandments, they must have their "Priorities" in proper order. The word "priority" means, "In order of importance, or superiority or supremacy." Most people who fail in their Christian life, fail because their priorities are out of order. Every area of life has a priority matter in it. Every area of society has a list attached to it. God is a God of order, and when His order is not followed, there will be problems. God has a priority list for us to follow and obey. These are called "commandments". There are many of them, be He sums they all up in the above two commandments; about love for Him and for other. Notice the four words that he uses on how we are to love Him: Heart, Soul, Mind & Strength. Few there are today who love Him supremely above all other and all things.
