"The Growth of Little Faith"

"He that is faithful in that which is least is faithful also in much..."

~ Luke 16:10

God is always working in our lives, even in conflict. So often we read about heroes of the faith and marvel at the big assignments they received from God, and have accomplished for His glory. But, we often see the pain, the struggle and even the loss they endured. We must keep in mind that while the Bible is full of the big assignments that God entrusted to His servants. Volumes could be filled with the unpublished details of "little" assignments that prepared servants for a task that God had ordained. The ministries for which God's servant volunteered required them to submit to the special challenges that accompany Christian service. Consider one of our missionaries, Miss Lisa Lewis, in Togo, West Africa. She serves there as a medical nurse while serving under the ministry of a local Baptist pastor. Every week she travels to different villages with her medical supplies and her Bible lesson supplies. For more than three years, she has seen God do a great work with "such little faith." Consider another of our missionaries, Brother Fain Morrison and her wife, Shelby. Several times each year they travel to the Philippines and India with money and other supplies to build new church buildings and schools for the national pastors there. The list could go on and on about those who have done, and are still doing great works for God -- in spite of their "little faith." Praise God, through their "little faith", God sees GREAT faith!
