"Get To Work"

"And there was not a man to till the ground."

~ Genesis 2:5

Benjamin Franklin said, "No man ever was glorious who was not laborious." Henry Ford spoke to 100,000 boy scouts and said, Success cannot be measured or attained by genius, but by hard work Our verse above reveal that God could not find anyone to till the ground. Could the reason be that this was hard work? It is not a high profile job. It is a job that is not in the limelight. God is looking for those who have a mind to work, even when that work is not looked upon as successful by the world.

Even people who may not have to work in the outdoors, they too, must learn to work hard and even long hours. Any person not willing to put in the long hours and tough times will never know real success. We have raised two generations of young people who have been government raised. They have learned how to use the government to meet all their needs. Even parents today are raising their children to look to them (parents) for what they need.

Our nation needs a revival of good work ethics. People who work for what they earn, usually appreciate what they have. God will bless the laborers who put their best into whatever they attempt to do.

From the pulpit to the pew, God has a work for all to do. Work will get no one to Heaven, but work will bless the person who does it honestly.
