"The Victorious Woman"

Proverbs 31:10 asks this question, "Who can find a virtuous woman?" The chapter continues to describe this woman as she lives for her family. The word "virtuous" means good, moral, pure, honest, clean, upright and worthy. The verse goes on to say, "For her price is far above rubies." The virtuous woman is a woman that lives in victory. She lives on the winning side. This woman is described as a devoted wife to her husband, and a dedicated mother to her children. This woman has a good head on her shoulders when it comes to making decisions. She is wise-hearted (Prov. 14:1, 31:6), which means she never rushes into any decision. Proverbs 31: 25 says that she possesses "strength and honor." She is a woman that honors and respects her Lord, (vs. 30). This lady showcases the example of what a woman is to be like. She is a homemaker that Titus 2:5 speaks about. She dresses in modest apparel which 1 Tim. 2:9 describes. Her whole life is consumed with pleasing her God, husband and her children. "The heart of her husband doth safely trust in her." "Her children arise up, and call her blessed" (Proverbs 31: 11,28). She lives in victory!
