"Cast Down But Not Destroyed"

Have you ever experienced something so devastating that you were sure you could not continue the path that God had put you on? In spite of how difficult the experience, or how sorrowful the hurt, we can always take comfort that God is continually with us through it all. Quite often, these are opportunities that He uses to strengthen our faith. The world, the flesh, and the devil can sometimes come our way and give us a knock-down punch. But, when these comes our way, we must not allow them to keep us down. That is where our enemy wants us to be. The energy of the flesh can only do so much, but the power of the Holy Spirit and God's Word is able to pick us up and help us to continue on. Notice the following phrases: "Not in despair, not distressed, not perplexed, not destroyed."

A just person may get knocked down time and time again, but God will see to it that he rises up again and again. So press on, dear friend. You are hidden in Christ, you are always on His mind and in His hands. With Him, all things are possible!
