"But when the fullness of time was come, God sent forth His Son" ~ Galations 4:4

"Down from His glory, Ever-living story,

My God and Savior came, And Jesus was His Name.

Born in a manger, To His own a stranger,

A Man of Sorrows, tears and agony.

What condescension, bringing us redemption;

that in the dead of night, not one faint hope in sight;

God, gracious, tender,

Laid aside His splendor,

Stooping to woo, to win, to save my soul.

Without reluctance,

Flesh and blood His substance

He took the form of man,

Revealed the hidden plan.

O glorious myst’ry,

Sacrifice of Calv’ry,

And now I know Thou art the great “I AM.”

O how I love Him! How I adore Him!

My breath, my sunshine, my all in all!

The great Creator became my Savior,

And all God’s fulness dwelleth in Him."

-William E. Booth-Clifforn, Composed in 1921.

Jesus came to die that we could live. He came down so that we could go up. He came to use so we could go to Him. He came to take our place so we could go to His Place. He came to love us even though we did not love Him. He, Who knew no sin, became our sin. He, Who is the Creator, became lower than what He created to lift his created out of sin. He suffered our Hell that we may have His Heaven. In Him is all you need in life, and the glorious life to come.
